upwrong I saw this duo live in Fareham last night and I've not tired of listening to this album over and over again. Just love the cello and the strength of these unusual compositions. Favorite track: The Unkindness of Ravens.

Martin Willcox Gorgeous album and my favourite of the year. Leo’s cello and David’s mandolin blend so well together, as do their voices. So glad I discovered these guys and their music Favorite track: Phantomfoolery.

The album is a wonderful celebration of storytelling that uses symphonic arrangements and narrative lyrics to conjure up a variety of themes and imagery. Through the lens of music and metaphor, The Last Inklings explore contemporary issues including mental health, personal wellbeing and growth, and our impact on the environment.
